I make tapestries, wall hangings and cards. I have had a bit of traffic with over 600 hits but I havent had any sales where do you think I am going wrong. Where do you suggest I advertise?

Not all traffic is equal. Where are you getting your traffic from? The best kind of traffic is “targeted traffic”. I would suggest advertising on Google or Yahoo so that your visitors only get to your site by searching for keywords that relate to your site. Also is your site optimized for sales conversion?
